The Factory is managed and run by the staff of various cadres and is headed by the General Manager.
- Security of the GOAW, Ghazipur is looked after by Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), headed by an Assistant Commandant.
- The total sanctioned strength of various cadres for the Factory and Alkaloid Works is 828. .
- At present, the working strength of the Factory and the Alkaloid Works is 382. Thus, there is a total vacancy of 446.
